TICKETING
Tickets to events at Starlight Square are always free; pre-registration is recommended to manage capacity. If an event is sold out online, please know there is standing room available for walk-up guests at the door. Please also note, in the event of weather, ticket holders will be notified through Eventbrite of any updates.
To help maintain a safe and respectful venue, we ask that all guests review and agree to Starlight’s Social Contract before visiting. We also ask all guests to be mindful of neighbors.
GETTING HERE
We recommend getting to Starlight on foot, bike, or by public transit (#1 Bus or Central Square T Stop on the Red Line.) If you choose to drive, there are nearby garages at:

Join Albino Mbie and friends for a live concert of music from Mbie’s albums “Mafu” & “Mozambican Dance.” All original compositions, Albino’s music combines many disparate parts into an organic whole by bringing awareness to languages, cultures, traditions, climate change, racism and other social injustice issues. Music, he believes, is an offer to the world, a way to bring more people together, and inspire collective movement and positive change.

On October 14th, 2021 we’ll be celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary for Kush Groove at Startlight Square in Central Square, Cambridge beginning at 5pm. We'll have an afterparty at La Fabrica night club.
The party is entirely FREE. We’ll have giveaway bags, [uninfused] samples of our Slow and Steady Edibles, Caribbean food and games. We’ll be premiering our documentary and we'll have music spinning from our very own DJ Vyper! .

Hipstory & Union Sound are back with part two of The Check In: an event series combining live performance, live visual art, and the good vibes we’ve needed all year. This Thursday's lineup features live sets by Forté, SeeFour and Rilla Force + live art by Sagie. Guests will get to know each artist through a series of check-ins, and be encouraged to check in with each other throughout the evening. The Check In invites the community to gather in a safe outdoor space to reconnect collectively.
A full evening of queer comedy & music, with music from Genie Santiago, Billy Dean Thomas, Boston Conservatory & Berklee students, and comedy from Will Smalley, Nora Panahi, & Kendra Dawsey.

An afternoon showcase of Central Square's only DJ academy where Instructors and past graduates will showcase their skills as DJs for the public to enjoy. This is also a learning opportunity for the public to see what Subcentral has to offer. In addition to that, those who attend will be encouraged to dance, enjoy themselves, as well as connect with vendors.

Turkish musical modes (makams) have been used in Anatolian hospitals as a complementary therapy for a range of illnesses since the 10th century. In this event we will present a variety of these modes in the forms of instrumental and vocal pieces as well as improvisations.
