Yuck Fest presents Michael Christmas

Yuck Fest presents Michael Christmas! With comedy openers Katlin McFee and Gordon Baker-Bone.

Born and raised in Boston, Michael Christmas began his career as a rapper in his early teens and went on to release his debut mixtape, Is This Art?, at age 19 in February 2014. Christmas spent the remainder of 2014 making waves locally and throughout the northeast, eventually leading to a supporting slot on Logic’s 40-date ‘The Under Pressure Tour’ in early 2015.

Gordon Baker-Bone is not a stage name, it's his real name. It's also a name you won't soon want to forget. This NJ native has been performing nationwide and has featured on AXS TV's Gotham Live and voted one of Brooklyn's 50 Funniest People in 2016. He's written for MTV, and is a regular at clubs around New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. He is poised to be a top comedian of his generation.

Katlin McFee is a Boston based comedian by way of the Midwest. She cut her comedy teeth in Indiana during her college years, in rooms surrounded by more corn fields than people. She draws upon her weird upbringing of as a queer kid in the farm land of Kentucky. Her self-deprecating style combined with blunt honesty and sharp wit make her an absolute joy to watch, and have allowed her to amass a number of credits in a short amount of time. She’s been featured on HBO’s Women In Comedy Festival and has been a finalist in Boston Comedy Festival. She can be heard on SiriusXM and has opened for national acts such as Andy Kindler, Eugene Mirman, and more people who have been on Bob’s Burgers.

It's A Date - Boston's Hottest Comedy Show

Everyone and anyone (21+) can come and watch the show, but if you are single and interested in being a main contestant, fill out a short application HERE.

Never been to It’s A Date? Here’s the gist:

The audience meets the contestants and pairs them up in the first half of the show. Then they watch as the couples go on their first dates in the second half.

The crew, all professional comedians, will be there to offer humorous comments and help the contestants break the ice. The audience, single or not, will be encouraged to chime in at any time — whether to voice an opinion, share a story, ask a question or even change the course of the evening.

The dates are completely real and nobody knows what can happen. Will the show be raunchy or romantic? Sexy or wholesome? We won’t find out until we find out.

*By agreeing to purchase a ticket to the show, you hereby agree to our appearance release and participation agreement. You will be granting “It’s A Date” and Comedy Connection permission to take motion and still pictures, record of your voice and any sound made by you and to use the footage and materials in the development, production, distribution of the show and in the advertisements and promotions for the show without any monetary compensation. The show will not disclose your biographical information, social media and other personal identifications.
