Kabir Sen (also known as “MC Kabir”) is both a professional hip hop artist and a music teacher based in the Boston area. Originally from London, he is a singer, emcee and producer whose music brews a heavy blend of thoughtful lyrics, soulful harmonies and funky rhythms from around the world. The Krush Faktory is a prolific collective of soulful musicians and friends with roots in the Boston area. The group had long-standing residencies at Bull McCabes Pub in Somerville and the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge.  Jimmy Trapella, Craig "Akira" Fujita and Kabir Sen provide positive, uplifting lyrics, vivid stories and rich three-part harmonies over delicious chord progressions and funky reggae beats.
